1. 1949 Buick Super Convertible - Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Zoya Akhtar's 2011 directorial, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, was the story of three best friends who undertake a trip to Spain. In the song, Khwabon Ke Parindey, the best friends are seen riding a pristine 1949 Buick Super Convertible. The Buick Super was a luxury vehicle sold in the United States. It is a car from General Motors, which also owns Chevrolet. 

2. 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air - Jewel Thief

Jewel Thief was a 1967 spy thriller directed by Vijay Anand. It starred Dev Anand and Tanuja in the lead roles. The song, Yeh Dil Na Hota, sung by Kishore Kumar, features a 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air convertible driven by Tanuja. The Chevrolet Bel-Air was one of the most popular cars of its era.

3. 1973 Porsche 911 Targa - Aashiq Hoon Baharon Ka

The 1977 film, Aashiq Hoon Baharon Ka, was directed by J.Om Prakash, who was the grandfather of Hrithik Roshan and who recently passed away. The film featured Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman in the leads. In the title track of the film, sung by Kishore Kumar, both Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman are seen zipping around the scenic locales of Switzerland in an orange Porsche 911 Targa. Porsche is owned by Volkswagen and the 911 is their most iconic and continuously produced vehicle.

4. 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - Dostana

The 2008 film, Dostana, was one of the most popular films of that year. It was shot at an exotic location, Miami, had some foot-tapping numbers, and featured actors such as John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and Priyanka Chopra. The opening of the film began with the song, Shut Up and Bounce, which was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and also had Shilpa Shetty make a guest appearance. Abhishek makes his entry in the song with a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible. The Cadillac Eldorado was the most luxurious vehicle from the company and is regarded as one of the groundbreaking automotive designs in history. 

5. 1995 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL-24 - Dil Chahta Hai

Dil Chahta Hai

Dil Chahta Hai was Farhan Akhtar's debut as a director, writer, and producer and was released in 2001. The film was the story of three best friends and the ways they handle the various events in their lives. The title track of the film features all three of them embark on a road trip to Goa in a Mercedes Benz SL convertible. The R129 SL-CLass is one of the company's best-loved convertibles and its appearance in the song is as popular as the song itself.
