1. Celluloid (2013)

Directed by Kamal, Celluloid is regarded as one of the best movies of Prithviraj. The movie chronicles the life and times of Dr J.C Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema. In it, Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role of Daniel. The film also received the National Best Film Award for the year 2013. Celluloid tells the story of how Daniel made the first Malayalam motion picture Vigathakumaan. The film fetched Prithviraj the State Film Award for Best Actor in 2013.

2. Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014)

Helmed by Vasanthabalan, Kaaviya Thalaivan film is a story about a drama company and its two leading men, one of which is essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. His character, Gomathi Nayagam Pillai, is a hardworking and dedicated man. In a candid interview to an entertainment portal, he shared about how long it took him to get ready for his shoot and that he was glad his fans loved his new avatar. With music by AR Rahman, this film is one of the most memorable movies of Prithviraj Sukumaran.

3. Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015)

Prithviraj Sukumaran played the role of B.P. Moideen aka Maanu for Ennu Ninte Moideen. He garnered appreciation from his fans for his character. The film essays the tragic love story of Moideen who belongs to a renowned Muslim family and Kanchana Mala, played by Parvathy Thiruvothu, who is the daughter of a Hindu aristocratic landlord. According to movie reviews, Prithviraj’s portrayal of his character in the film manages to leave the audience spellbound, with the actor depicting his honesty and the countless ways in which he fights for his love. The film has a rating of 8 plus pointer on IMDb, making it one of Prithviraj’s must-watch films.

4. Adam Joan (2017)

Jinu Abraham’s directorial stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Bhavana in lead roles. The film chronicles the story of the life of a planter, Adam Joan Pothan, essayed by Prithviraj, who hails from Mundakkayam. He unexpectedly meets a girl named Emy and the two jet off to Scotland together. Although the movie did not impress the fans much, the film performed decently at the box office.
