The news of Sonali Bendre's battle with cancer has sent shock waves across the country. The actress is currently undergoing treatment for high-grade cancer in New York and seems like Priyanka Chopra was checking on Sonali's health. Priyanka is friends with Goldie Behl's sister Srishti Behl Arya who produced her film 'Drona' starring Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan. Accompanying the actress on her visit to Srishti's residence was her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra. The actress was spotted at the Mumbai airport right after.

Ever since Sonali broke the news of her battle with cancer, her fans have been left worried about her health. In an earlier Instagram post, Sonali poured her heart out about how difficult it was to break the news about her illness to her 12-year-old son Ranveer. The actress praised her son for showing maturity and said she was surprised how he instantly became the source of strength for her. "As much as we wanted to protect him, we knew it was important to tell him the full facts. We've always been open and honest with him and this time it wasn't going to be different. He took the news so maturely... and instantly became a source of strength and positivity for me. In some situations now, he even reverses roles and takes on being the parent, reminding me of things I need to do," the 43-year-old actress revealed in her post. She added, "I'm spending time with Ranveer right now, while he's on summer vacation. His madness and shenanigans help me #SwitchOnTheSunshine. And today, we derive strength from each other #OneDayAtATime."
