Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas gave Meghan Markle-Prince Harry's royal wedding a run for their money, here's how

2018 has been a year of weddings and as the year is finally going to conclude, tech giant Google has released the list of most-searched weddings of the year. And surprisingly, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and American vocalist Nick Jonas' wedding has become the second-most Googled wedding of the year. 

Priyanka Chopra tied the knot with Nick Jonas earlier this month and surprisingly within a very short period of time their wedding is close on the heels of the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that took place in May, this year. Priyanka and Nick's wedding holds the second position in the list of most-searched weddings after the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

Other celebrity weddings to feature on the list included that of Princess Eugenie, Kat Von D (Katherine von Drachenberg) and in fact, the grand wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has also made it to the list as they stand at the fifth spot.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American vocalist Nick Jonas tied the knot in a royal wedding celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan on December 1 and 2. The international couple got hitched twice- once they exchanged vows in a Christian wedding and again they tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony.

The extravagant affair hosted around 225 guests which included Priyanka and Nick's family members and close associates. The couple, who kept much of the wedding under wraps, released the first official wedding pictures on December 4. Following the same, the couple shared several other pictures from their wedding ceremonies on their respective social media accounts. The star-studded bash was a perfect blend of Indian and western cultures. Both Priyanka and Nick's families were present at the event and they took part actively in the celebrations to make it memorable for the pair. Talking about the wedding attires, the international couple chose Ralph Lauren couture for their Christian wedding, and they donned Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensembles for their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
