The former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is associated with popular beauty and make-up brands. Some time back the actor revealed some of the beauty tips that she got from her mother and her grandmother. The global star follows simple home remedies for her skin and hair care. Judging from her popularity on social media, it can be safe to say that they work well for her.
The first thing that the actor showed was the lip scrub that she made using sea salt, vegetable glycerine, and rose water so that it is not harsh on the skin. The next thing that she showed was the body scrub, which Priyanka suggested to try on the hand first, to make sure one is not allergic to it. The scrub was the combination of gram flour, plain yoghurt, a few drops of lemon, some milk along with what PeeCee believes are her magic ingredients - sandalwood powder and turmeric powder. All ingredients must be combined into a paste. The paste is expected to brighten the skin tone. Priyanka proved this in her video by showing the complexion difference on the back of her hand. The last thing that Priyanka shared was the hair mask for a scalp treatment for concerns like dry scalp or dandruff. The ingredients included yoghurt, honey and eggs. According to PeeCee, this mixture needs to be massaged into the scalp and should be left for about 30 minutes, followed by a hair-wash using a mild shampoo and warm water.
PeeCee's fans seemed to love the tips and many were enthusiastic about trying them. While some Indian fans already knew about these tips, having heard of them from their nanis and dadis; some were happy to know her secrets. Many fans expressed being happy about Peecee furthering Indian remedies. Her accent also became a topic for conversation post the video.
