Priyanka Chopra recently took to Instagram and posted a picture given her much-anticipated film, 'The Sky Is Pink' is all set to release on October 11.
The team picture featured all the actors playing a pivotal role in the film, including Zaira Wasim. However, once the post was shared, netizens flooded her comments with several questions regarding the 'Dangal' actor. Some even went ahead to remind her that she quit Bollywood and that should not be a part of the limelight. While many others went ahead and speculated her attendance at the film festival.
For the uninitiated, Priyanka Chopra Jonas-Farhan Akhtar's 'The Sky is Pink' will have its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2019.
Zaira Wasim in a recent Instagram post announced her "disassociation" from acting in Bollywood. Stating the reason behind her decision, the 18-year-old said that she was not happy with her current line of work, which has silently and unconsciously transitioned her "out of Imaan." The actor shared a detailed post on her social media page, which she also shared across other social media platforms, that read -- "Though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here."
The Shonali Bose's directorial will mark Zaira Wasim's last silver screen appearance. It narrates the story of a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency order, called pulmonary fibrosis, at the age of 13. The biographical drama is scripted by Juhi Chaturvedi and will be jointly produced by Priyanka, RSVP and Roy Kapur Films.
