Priyanka Chopra is back to dazzle us on-screen with her upcoming film, 'The Sky Is Pink'. The film based on a true story stars Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf and Zaira Wasim in pivotal roles and the biographical tale is all set to hit the theatres on October 11, and fans and netizens are waiting with bated breath. Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas, who is also Priyanka's husband took to Instagram to review the film and looking at it one can say that it is a definite read! Sharing the poster of the film Jonas wrote that the film touched his heart in many ways, and the story is quite bold and beautiful. Praising all the Qunatico star's work he said, You made me smile, laugh and cry and I know you are going to impact so many people’s lives with this film. I love you so much.

Little bit about The Sky Is Pink

Meanwhile,  The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and it received a 4-minute standing ovation from the audience. The plot of The Sky Is Pink revolves around the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary (Zaira Wasim), who became a motivational speaker at the age of 13. Zaira Wassim will be seen for the last time on the big screen as she has decided to quit acting for good. Rohit Saraf will be playing the role of Zaira’s brother and will have only limited time on the screen. Fans are very excited about The Sky is Pink and are waiting to watch the romantic drama on screen.

The character played by Priyanka is named Aditi and her kids fondly refer to her as Moose, while Farhan who plays Niren is Panda. The director and writer of the movie, Shonali Bose in a recent social media post revealed a few insights about the characters. She drew comparisons between Niren and Panda, as well as Aditi and Moose. In the video, Shonali is seen talking about how Moose was an inspirational character to write, as she is very fierce and Aditi is a tigress. Panda, on the other hand, is very gentle and sweet, while Niren is a black belt, who is expert in Kung Fu.
