After a groundbreaking success with 'Stree', Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao along with 'Gold' actress Mouni Roy is all set to begin the first schedule of 'Made in China'. Rajkummar who plays a lead role in the film took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to share a picture from the sets of the film. He said "A new beginning. Made In China starts filming today." In his post, the actor also mentioned that the film will release on August 15, 2019. 'Made in China' is helmed by Mikhil Musale and will be produced by Dinesh Vijan's production house Maddock Films, that has previously produced Rajkummar's latest film, 'Stree'. Along with film, the star cast includes Mouni Roy and Boman Irani.

In the film, Mouni Roy will be seen playing the role of Rajkummar Rao's wife. Reportedly, Mouni had earlier expressed her happiness on bagging the role and stated that she is extremely excited to be a part of the film, and is looking forward to working with Rajkummar Rao, as he is a tremendous actor and she has always looked up to his work. She further revealed that she could not wait to start working with it, and she is ecstatic to be a part of Maddock Films. The film is essentially said to be a comedy film, that will showcase the journey of a struggling Gujarati businessman, who wishes to be a successful entrepreneur. The film will release on August 15, 2019. On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao is basking the success of 'Stree'. And, apart from 'Made in China', he also has 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', 'Mental Hai Kya' and 'Turram Khan' in his kitty. As for Mouni Roy, she was last seen in 'Gold' along with Akshay Kumar. She will next be seen in 'Brahmastra' alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Ali Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan.
