Rajkummar Rao: Here's how his parents reacted on his nude scene in LSD

Rajkummar Rao debuted with the 2010 film, Love, Sex aur Dhoka. Recently, the 'Made in China' actor revealed the reaction of his parents to his nude scene.

Actor Rajkummar Rao recently revealed an interesting anecdote from his life. The Newton actor landed his first Bollywood debut with a role in the 2010 film, Love Sex Aur Dhoka. The film was directed by Dibakar Banerjee. For the film, Rajkummar had to perform a nude scene, and the actor revealed in an interview with a media portal that breaking the news of the scene to his parents was one of the toughest things he had to do in his life.

Confession

Recalling the anecdote during his appearance on a leading talk show, the Made In China actor said that landing his big Bollywood break with Love, Sex Aur Dhoka was one of the happiest moments of his life. He further added that two days after getting the role, he met the film's director, Dibakar Banerjee. Dibakar then told him that there is a nude scene to be done in the film. Rajkummar displayed no apprehensions whatsoever and was ready to do it for the job. However, the actor recalled that he had to tell his parents and family about the scene.

However, Rajkummar said he should have not worried. The actor's parents were very cool with it. Rajkummar recalled that the conversation that transpired between him and his parents was humorous and they did not care about this after a point. In fact, the actor assured his parents that there was no frontal nudity for the scene. And they never discussed this point further on.

What is next for Rajkummar Rao?

The actor's last film was the Diwali release, Made In China. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Mikhil Musale, the film also features Mouni Roy, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani and Gajraj Rao in supporting roles. In 2020, fans of Rajkummar Rao have two films to look forward to. The first is the horror-comedy, Roohi Afza. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and the director of the Fukrey films, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and is directed by Hardik Mehta. Roohi Afza will mark the first time collaboration between Rajkummar and Jahnvi Kapoor, and will also feature Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Aamna Sharif and Ronit Roy. His next release is Turram Khan, with Nushrat Bharucha as his female lead. He will reunite with Hansal Mehta for this film, which is produced by Ajay Devgn.
