Reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor who was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' is all set to team up with filmmaker Sandeep Vanga Reddy for his upcoming crime drama. Sandeep made his debut in Bollywood by directing the remake of his Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy', which was titled as 'Kabir Singh' in Bollywood.
A recent media report claimed that Sandeep Vanga had a 'closed-door meeting' with producer Bhushan Kumar and narrated a story for his project and also agreed on the actor they wish to cast in. “Sandeep narrated a story idea to Bhushan, who has liked it and will produce the film. They met yesterday to discuss the logistics and casting,” the media report was quoted. Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor has been approached with the script, however, even if the makers receive a nod, they cannot start rolling as Ranbir will have to wrap up two films before that- 'Brahmastra' and 'Shamshera' respectively.
‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will only be releasing in the summer of 2020. The film is said to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. The sci-fi drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy is one of the most-anticipated films of the year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release. The film includes a stunning star cast consisting of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy.
Alia Bhatt recently expressed her love for Ranbir Kapoor on a public platform that left the actor blushing. So, was this an official confirmation of their relationship? Reacting on the same, Alia Bhatt spoke to a tabloid and said that it was not an announcement and she doesn't need to defend what she did because it was very personal for her.
