Ranbir Kapoor's birthday: Alia Bhatt makes it special by baking a cake

Ranbir Kapoor proved he is among the most-loved celebrities of B-Town, with all the love flowing in for him from stars on his 37th birthday on Saturday. Not just did celebrities galore joined him in ringing in the new year of his life,  even social media was filled with greetings and emotions for him. The best wish for the evening was obviously from ‘Brahmastra’ co-star and girlfriend Alia Bhatt, who shared a snap of the Birthday Boy and wishing him. That was not all, Alia made it more special, by baking a cake for her beau.

A video of Alia baking a cake for Ranbir Kapoor on his birthday has hit social media. In the video, a person accompanying the actor is heard saying, “There’s a new baker in town.” She then quips, “Sorry guys, you have to book in advance.” Alia is then seen applying the cream on the cake, and the person who is recording it finds it unusual, looking at the way the actor sprays the cookie smash on it. Watch the video here:

Earlier, Alia Bhatt had the best wish for the occasion, sharing a snap and writing, “happy birthday you”. 

Highlights of Ranbir's 37th

The actor rung in his birthday by partying with his near and dear ones. The who’s who of Bollywood turned up to celebrate with the ‘Rockstar’ star, be it Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh,  Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Aditya Roy Kapur and his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.

Later, Ranbir's fans came out in big numbers to convey their greetings to their favourite star. Ranbir Kapoor made the efforts they had taken to come and meet him worthwhile, by obliging them. While the ‘Birthday Boy’ made it special for them by clicking selfies with them and waving out to them, the interesting bit was when the crowd got go big, he eventually had to climb on to a platform to greet them. Even there, he was extremely warm to his fans, waving at them, accepting the bouquets they brought and more. 

Neetu Kapoor too wished her son with some adorable throwback pictures and reminiscing the days of his childhood birthdays, and how today he is their strength, while hailing his ‘goodness’ and how she feels proud about him encouraging everyone around.
