Karan Johar's house party video featuring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji, among others, went viral after the director put it up on his Instagram on late Saturday night.
While the stars enjoyed their Saturday night vibes, Netizens couldn't help but assume that the stars might have under the influence of drugs because of their droopy eyes, facial expressions, director Ayan Mukerji hiding something behind him etc. But a thing to notice in the video was that none of the stars were spotted with a drink or any other means of intoxicants. Were the stars high? One has questions that has stirred debate on social media.
National spokesperson of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to his Twitter handle and called the party video 'Udta Bollywood' (referring to Shahid Kapoor's film Udta Punjab which revolved around the drug abuse in Punjab). He wrote: "#UDTABollywood - Fiction Vs Reality
Watch how the high and mighty of Bollywood proudly flaunt their drugged state!! I raise my voice against #DrugAbuse by these stars."
To this, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel reacted by narrating a Sahir Ludhiyanvi poem. Take a look -
Self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan also wrote on his Twitter handle claiming everyone was drunk but 'We can’t confirm whether they used alcohol or something else'
