Ranveer Singh Bhavnani was born on July 6, 1985, in Mumbai to father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, who is a successful businessman, and mother Anju Bhavnani. He has one sister, Ritika Bhavnani and the Bollywood celebrities Rhea Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are his cousins. Ranveer was reportedly a student of H.R. College of Commerce and Economics and later moved to Indiana University in the USA where he received a degree in Arts.
