Ranveer Singh is a well-known face in the Hindi film industry. It has been nine years since Ranveer made his debut with Band Baaja Baarat. But with each of his films, the actor has proved his versatility. Whether it is playing the role of a Maratha warrior in Bajirao Mastani or a thief in Lootera, Ranveer has proved his excellence as an actor.
Ranveer Singh made his debut in the industry with the film Band Baaja Baaraat in the year 2010. The film featured Anushka Sharma opposite him. The film was a success and also marked Maneesh Sharma’s directorial debut. His second film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl was a love story. His third film, Lootera, was even more experimental for him as he was playing the role of a thief. However, Ranveer managed to do it effortlessly.
Ranveer Singh was next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyo Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time. The movie was based on the ace director’s version of Romeo and Juliet. The actor received a nomination for the Filmfare Best Actor Award the following year. According to media reports, Ranveer has undergone a massive physical transformation for the film. Lastly, he was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Gully Boy which also featured Alia Bhatt. The film is India’s official entry for the 2020 Oscars.
