Recently, Ranveer Singh was spotted at the unveiling of a luxury watch brand's new store in Mumbai. The actor was appointed as the brand ambassador of the celebrated Swiss watch brand, Franck Muller. For the event, Ranveer came dressed in a neon long coat, or zoot suit as it is known, paired with a grey suit and pant ensemble. The Gully Boy actor made a smashing entry at the launch event, which was captured on video by photographer Viral Bhayani.

The actor has two blockbuster releases last year, Padmaavat and Simmba. In Padmaavat, Ranveer played the role of the villain, Alauddin Khilji, while in Simmba, he essayed the role of a corrupt but determined police officer Sangram Bhalerao. Both of the films turned out to be hugely successful films at the box-office and won Ranveer major accolades for his performances. The actor also married his long-time lover, fellow actor Deepika Padukone, after years of speculations.

Ranveer Singh had only one major release for 2019, the Zoya Akhtar directorial, Gully Boy. Co-starring Alia Bhatt, the film was a box-office and critical success and is the official entry of India for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars. For now, the actor is gearing up for the release of the film, '83, in which he is seen playing the role of the veteran cricketer, Kapil Dev. Ranveer will also reprise his role from Simmba for the Rohit Shetty film, Sooryavanshi, where he will appear in a cameo.
