REVEALED: Here’s how Virat-Anushka kept their wedding a secret

Team India skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma finally put rumours to rest on Monday when they tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy. It did not take long for their fairytale wedding to become the talk of the town with many congratulating the power couple. The wedding took place at a country-side resort which is located in a small village named Bibbiano in the Tuscany region of Italy.

But the question which bothered many was how did the couple, their friends and family manage to keep this extravagant affair so private? Well, here’s your answer!

Well, Delhi-based wedding planner Devika Narain along with her husband Joseph Radhik (who was the photographer for the wedding) played a key role in keeping the event private.

The internationally acclaimed wedding designer took her company Facebook account and wrote, “The past few months have been nothing short of EPIC.  Congratulations Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, it has been an absolute honour and privilege to be a part of the journey. Thank you Shaadi Squad, Stories by Joseph Radhik, The Wedding Filmer for being the best co-conspirators. #Virushka #Blessed #happy”

Shaadi Squad, took to their Instagram handle to spill the beans on how they managed to keep the entire occasion a secret. They wrote,

“Four months of keeping a secret, hiding even from our own team, the secret recces, midnight meetings, vague conversations, and sleepless nights have finally manifested into this grand moment.”

They added, “Thank you Anuskha and Virat, for making us part of your family and trusting us to pull off something of this magnitude.”

Top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the wedding ensemble for the couple, who will soon start living in Mumbai.  The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for couple's Bollywood friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.
