Richa Chadha shuts down Harvard Professor who called Coconut Oil 'Pure Poison'. Here's how she did it

This piece of information did not go down well with actress Richa Chadha, who took to her official Twitter to tear apart Harvard professor's statement.

To date, there are over 1,500 studies proving coconut oil to be one of the healthiest foods on the planet. Coconut oil benefits and uses go beyond what most people realize, as coconut oil — made copra or dried coconut flesh — is a true superfood.

The oil is used not just in tropical countries, where coconut plantations are abundant, but also in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. People are discovering the wonders this oil can create, however, a Harvard professor, Karin Michels has called it, 'pure poison.' She says:

Coconut oil is 'one of the worst foods that you can eat.'

Karin, who is also the Director at the Institute for Prevention and Tumor Epidemiology at the University of Freiburg thought that she was busting the myths about coconut oil.

This piece of information did not go down well with actress Richa Chadha, who took to her official Twitter to tear apart Harvard professor's statement and convey her thoughts regarding the same. 

Richa wrote, "And yet, we've been cooking in coconut oil for centuries ... especially in the south. Maybe the west will ask us to buy it once they package it, like 'turmeric formula'. #chupkaroangrezo"
