Rishi Kapoor overwhelmed as Russian at New York salon plays his 'anthem' - Main Shayar To Nahin

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor who is gearing up for his return to the country after a long stay in the United States, was recently showered with fan love as he visited a salon in New York. The actor seemingly bumped into a Russian fan in the Salon who recognized him and played one of his most popular songs- 'Main Shayar To Nahin,' from his debut film 'Bobby'.

The actor recorded a video of the same while getting his haircut done, and shared the same on Twitter earlier on the day. The '102 Not Out' actor captioned the post, saying, "My anthem played in a salon whilst getting a haircut. Russian recognized me and played it from his notebook. Thank you Sergie,"

Rishi Kapoor who moved to New York owing to his treatment for cancer has almost got over the deadly disease and is expected to come back to India soon. During his stay in the West, he is visited by a slew of Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Bendre, and Javed Akhtar. The actor recently attended the launch of Anupam Kher's autobiography 'Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly' along with wife Neetu Kapoor in New York.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rishi Kapoor's latest outing 'Jhootha Kahin Ka' released on July 19. He has also made his Netflix debut with the film, 'Rajma Chawal' which captures a relationship between a father and son, as the former attempting to reconnect with his estranged son through social media.
