He played the role of a psychopath killer in 2014's Ek Villain, his performance in the film was appreciated by the audiences and critics alike. He will next be seen playing a negative role yet again in Marjaavaan where he will portray the role of a dwarf gangster. Housefull 3 was an ensemble comedy film which featured Riteish, Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. In the film, Riteish's character pretends to be blind in order to woo his love interest through sympathy. This gives the film many comedic twists and turns. Riteish's pretend-blind character while introducing himself uses this funny dialogue.

"Life se badi school koi nahi hai ... aur is school mein har subject available hai"

This dialogue was featured in the film F.A.L.T.U which released back in 2011. The film revolved around college dropouts opening their own university in order to study the subjects they wish to. Riteish played the role of the principal of the made-up university in the film. This inspiring dialogue is spoken by Riteish at a very crucial moment in the film.
