Saaho director Sujeeth: "Being treated as if I have committed a crime"

'Saaho' starring Prabhas might have collected big figures at the box-office but the film has also received negative reviews from both viewers and reviewers. In an interview with a leading daily, Sujeeth broke his silence on the criticism he has been facing and said that the fans came to watch the film in big numbers and still, he is being treated harshly as if he has committed a crime. Sujeeth also said that he has been staying away from the media and public appearance because 'of all the negativity that is being thrown at the film'. He said: "Love or hate the film. But why target me?"

"I should be enjoying the film's success, but instead I am sick in bed. Fortunately for me, Prabhas sir and the producers are supporting me. That's the only good thing happening in my life right now. Seeing all the criticism, I decided to keep quiet and still, all these negative things are being said about me," Sujeeth was quoted by the publication who is currently recovering from dengue but unfortunately is being trolled on social media.

Director Sujeeth hits back: 

Addressing the Telugu media, Sujeeth refuted the plagiarism claims stating that people who have alleged that it is a copy from 'Largo Winch' did not watch the film in the first place. He also urged people to watch the film if they did not understand anything. He also went to add that the critics should have waited for a little bit longer before publishing the reviews as it affects the audience turnout in the theatres.
