The trailer of the upcoming film Saand Ki Aankh is out and the audience is going crazy over how the makers of the film have put Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in a never-seen-before avatar. The actors reportedly had to go through a lot of makeovers before achieving the Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar looks.

Bhumi and Taapsee's transformation 

Bhumi Pednekar will be seen portraying the role of sharpshooter Chandro Tomar aka Shooter Dadi. Whereas Taapsee Pannu will be playing the character of Prakashi Tomar nicknamed as Revolver Dadi. Actor Bhumi Pednekar, in one of her interviews, said that playing the role of Chandro Tomar has been a life-changing experience for her. She also considers Saand Ki Aankh as one of the most special films of her career.

The actors had to go through major transformations to be able to look like Chandro and Prakashi in the movie. Not only about the looks, but the actors also got trained to handle the pistol. Taapsee spoke about her experience at the trailer launch event. Taapse said that she could not even take an aim to shoot, it was possible only after three months of training that she was able to hold the pistol correctly.

The actors not only had to take the training for holding the pistols but they also had to work on their body languages. They had to walk, talk and act like the 60-year old shooters wearing ghagras who prioritised their families over everything else. Apart from the long time-consuming makeup, the actors also had to learn the body language and the dialect of these women. Taapsee and Bhumi picked this by observing women in their villages.

Apart from Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu, Saand Ki Aankh will also be feature Prakash Jha, Pawan Chopra, Vineet Kumar Singh and Vicky Kadian. The film is directed by the Ek Villain director Tushar Hiranandani. Saand Ki Aankh has been bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap & Nidhi Parmar. The filming has been done in Hastinapur and Mawana, the cities of Uttar Pradesh.
