Saif Ali Khan: The Laal Kaptaan actor talks about his diet routine

Actor Saif Ali Khan has one of the most appealing physiques amongst his peers in the Indian film industry. It is because of a fitness regime that the 49-year-old follows wholeheartedly. Here is what the Nawab of Bollywood has to say about his diet and fitness plans.

Saif Ali Khan opens up about his diet

In an interview with a leading daily, Saif Ali Khan said that the secret to his successful diet is to actually stop eating just before his stomach gets full, which is, as he claims, the most difficult time to stop eating. According to him, a balanced diet is something that is easily available everywhere. The Hindi film veteran says that a diet plan doesn't need to include many exotic and unpronounceable fruits. Saif mentioned that he regularly consumes simple foods like dal, rice and veggies. He mentioned how his healthy diet reflects on his personality.

After beginning to consume healthy food, the actor can't believe how energetic he has become and is seen laughing and smiling more, which gives him the motivation to continue doing the same. He added yoga has become an integral part of his lifestyle too as his co-actor wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan is also an avid fitness enthusiast.

Saif's upcoming movies

Saif will be seen on the big screen soon as well as he is set to star as the leading man in Laal Kaptaan, which is directed by Navdeep Singh. The movie revolves around the actor's portrayal of a Naga Sadhu. The trailer of the movie was released on September 23, in which Saif was seen in a bulky physique sporting an Aghori-like aesthetic look. The movie is set to release on October 18, 2019. The Nawab’s fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the theatres.
