Bollywood actor and producer Saif Ali Khan is in the midst of a busy 2019. The second season of the hit Netflix show, Sacred Games, debuted in August and garnered critical acclaim and appreciation from viewers. Saif is now gearing up for the release of two films this year - Laal Kaptaan and Jawaani Jaaneman. Both of the films are eagerly anticipated by movie lovers.

In Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif is rumoured to play the role of a 40-year-old father who refuses to mature. His daughter's role is played by the 16-year-old debutant Alaia Furniturewaala. She is the granddaughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi and the daughter of Pooja Bedi. The film will also feature the popular actor Tabu in a pivotal role.

Jawaani Jaaneman will be co-produced by Saif Ali Khan, Black Knight Films and Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment. The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar of Filmistaan fame. Its shooting took place extensively in London and the cast recently wrapped it up. The film will clash with Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara and Vidyut Jamwal's Commando 3 at the box office on November 29. 

Saif is also gearing up for the release of Laal Kaptaan. Directed by Navdeep Singh, the film is produced by Aanand L. Rai's Colour Yellow Productions and is a revenge drama. The film will release on October 18 and its trailer has already made fans go gaga especially over Saif's looks and what his role will be. He is on a heavy-duty promotional spree for the film at present. The actor will also appear next in the film Tanaji which stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
