As per the 2018 Forbes India list, the actor's earning was estimated to be around Rs 253.25 crore in 2017-2018. According to a report by Finances Online, Salman Khan receives approximately over Rs 1.5 crore per day of shoot for each ad endorsement. He has appeared in advertisements like Suzuki motorcycles, Chlormint gum, Relaxo footwear, Campa Cola, Mountain Dew, Limca soft drinks, and Jerai Fitness. In a span of 30 years, Salman Khan has done over 100 films. This superstar is said to be among the highest-paid Bollywood actors.

Joining Bigg Boss show in its fourth season as the host, Salman Khan has been with the show for over nine years now. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, the Dabangg 3 actor's estimated fee is said to be around Rs 31 crore per episode on Bigg Boss 13. Apart from starring in films and hosting TV shows, Salman Khan has co-produced movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Race 3, and Tubelight, all of which he starred in.
