Salman Khan's sister Arpita Sharma and her husband Aayush Sharma are expecting their second child. This was confirmed by the latter while he was interacting with the media at the NEXA IIFA Awards. "I think the new arrival is always exciting. Arpita and I are expecting our second baby. Ours has been an amazing journey, so it starts all over again. We just can't wait for the baby to arrive," he said

Aayush Sharma speaks about Arpita Khan: 

Talking about Arpita Khan, Aayush Sharma in one of the interviews praised her wife and spoke how she has been an anchor in his life. He said: "He had stated, “She’s been my support from day one. She’s my backbone. She’s warm and caring. I didn’t know the seriousness of this profession. When I started training under Bhai it came as a rude shock. I realized it’s not as easy as it looks. She was the one, who kept me motivated."

For the uninitiated, the duo tied the knot at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on November 18, 2014. On March 30, 2016, the couple welcomed their first bundle of joy, Ahil.

Meanwhile, Arpita Khan Sharma is an ardent follower of Lord Ganesha and often holds prayer meets that are attended by the who's who of Bollywood. This year, Salman Khan's sister along with mother Salma Khan was also spotted taking a Ganesh idol home. Many Bollywood and TV celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Mouni Roy, Maheep Kapoor, Prabhudeva, Neelam Kothari, Giorgia Andriani, Soha Ali Khan along with Kunal Kemmu and daughter Inaaya, Daisy Shah, attended Arpita's Ganesh Chaturthi festivities.
