Seeking 'positivity after all the negativity' around Sridevi's death, Ram Gopal Varma announces new film 'Officer'
After an almost three-day-long public outpouring of grief following the death of Sridevi, Ram Gopal Varma has released details of his next film

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who has penned numerous 'distraught' blog and social media posts over the last three days following the shocking death of Bollywood icon Sridevi, has now, in a stated search for positivity, released details of his upcoming film, Officer. He had earlier put off the film's announcement because of Sridevi's death.
Taking to Twitter, Ram Gopal Varma wrote:
"After all the negativity around Sridevi,I am truly wanting some positivity and releasing the title,first look poster and release date of my most ambitious film with @iamnagarjuna
#NAGRGV4 is now #OFFICER"
Varma has written copiously over the last few days about how traumatised he is regarding Sridevi's death. His last few tweets before the film's announcement continue in the same vein, though they're tamer than some of those that came before:
