Shah Rukh Khan has spent almost 27 years in the Bollywood industry and has successfully managed to win several hearts with his acting. Shah Rukh, known for his romantic movies, is an inspiration for every newcomer dabbling in the genre. Apart from having worked with few of the best women co-stars, King Khan has also worked with some of the finest male actors from the industry. Here are some of the best male co-stars that Shah Rukh Khan has worked with.

Amrish Puri

Who doesn’t remember the iconic dialogue ‘Ja Simran ja, jee le apni Zindagi’ from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge? Amrish Puri is famous for a lot of movies. However,  this dialogue of his from DDLJ became extremely famous over the years. Shah Rukh Khan went on to act with Amrish Puri on many occasions. They have shared the screen space in movies like Koyla, Karan Arjun, Baadshah, Pardes, Deewana, Mohabbatein and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, to name a few. Bollywood lost a great actor when Amrish Puri passed away in 2005.

Amitabh Bachchan

Shah Rukh Khan has been very vocal about his admiration for Amitabh Bachchan. Reportedly, SRK even went on to call Bachchan as the ‘God of acting.’ The two have acted together in several movies including Kabhi Khushi Kabhi GhamBhootnath, Boothnath Returns, Mohabbatein, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, to name a few. Amitabh Bachchan also made a special appearance in movies like Veer Zaara and Paheli, where SRK played a lead role.

Anupam Kher

Ace Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has received a lot of appreciation both nationally and internationally. Kher has played a plethora of roles, all very different from each other. He has shared the screen space with King Khan on numerous occasions, and the two have come together to deliver some of the biggest box office hits. Some of these movies include Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Happy New Year, and Zamaana Deewana. He has played the role of Shah Rukh’s father in most of these movies.

Boman Irani

Boman Irani is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood today. Irani has been a part of some great movies in his Bollywood career. Irani and King Khan most recently worked together in Happy New Year. Apart from this movie, they have also worked together in movies like Dilwale, Don (2006), Bhootnath Returns, Main Hon Na, etc. The duo has successfully managed to not only entertain but also impress the audiences with their on-screen camaraderie.

Salman Khan

Bring King Khan and Dabaang Khan together, and what could go wrong? Both Shah Rukh and Salman have been two of the most bankable actors in Bollywood. Though the two had been at loggerheads a few years back, the friendship between the two Khans is back in full swing now. Post the feud, Salman made a special appearance in Shah Rukh’s movie Zero, while SRK did the same in Salman’s Tubelight. They have also worked together in the past in movies such as Karan Arjun, Dushman Duniya Ka, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
