Shah Rukh Khan conducted an #AskSRK session on Twitter where he answered his fan's questions on October 8. While there were few who were disappointed at the actor for not responding to their questions, there were some fans who took the opportunity to interact and ask about his life and upcoming projects.
One of his fans took this opportunity and asked Shah Rukh Khan for his take on Joaquin Phoenix's performance in the film Joker. This is how Shah Rukh Khan responded while retweeting the fans question
Joker is one of the darkest mainstream movies which is shaping up to be this year's biggest box office hit, according to box office reports; this, despite courting competition from multiple actors who have portrayed the Joker character in the past. The film was received positively by fans and critics all around the world when it hit the big screen and broke the October opening box-office record, according to reports from a global media tracking movie performances.
Joker, directed by Todd Phillips, is the origin story of Detective Comics #168 (February 1951) who introduced the character as Red Hood. The man was later known as Batman's arch-nemesis 'The Joker' in its original continuity. Joker is simply regarded as the most baffling DC villains, whose character has been given different flourishes over the years. The character, however, was immortalised 11 years ago when portrayed by the legendary, Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.
Shah Rukh Khan last appeared in Aanand L Rai's Zero, which co-starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles. The film did not perform so well at the box office. He is currently on a self-proclaimed sabbatical and focusing more on producing shows.
