Shahid Kapoor talks about marriage and how wife Mira makes it perfect

Actor Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have been married for four years now and have time and again declared their love for each other on social media. During Neha Dhupia's talk show No Filter Neha, Shahid Kapoor opened up about how they are perfect for each other despite their age difference. In fact, the actor feels that the age difference adds to the magic between them.

The arranged marriage formula

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput reportedly have 13 years of age difference between them. In the talk show, the actor spoke about how his experienced point of views are different from his wife's opinions. He said this difference often leads to disagreements between them but in retrospect, they understand and appreciate each other's views. Shahid Kapoor says this is what makes them perfect for each other.

Opposites attract

Shahid Kapoor claims that his wife, Mira Rajput often takes a stand on several issues, and her views often help Shahid look at any given situation differently with a fresh perspective. The actor acknowledges this trait in his wife and says he is thankful for being married to her. When he looks at the bigger picture, Shahid says, he knows that both of them are good for each other as they complement each other.

Shahid Kapoor also shared his experiences of parenthood on the show. In 2016, Shahid and Mira became parents to their firstborn, Misha Kapoor. They also have another child, Zain Kapoor, who was born in 2018. Shahid revealed that with daughter Misha, his wife Mira and he had to struggle with sleepless nights as they were learning to be parents whereas, with Zain, everything fell right into place.

What's next for Shahid Kapoor?

Professionally, this year has been very successful for the Ishk Vishk actor. His only release for the year, Kabir Singh, emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all-time, and Shahid Kapoor earned a tremendous amount of acclaim for his performance. The actor is now gearing up to begin shooting for his next film. It is a remake of the Telugu film, Jersey, which starred the actor Nani.
