Shruti Hassan had been performing her own compositions in a number of cafes in London. She can currently be seen in the English TV series Treadstone. The series revolves around the project Treadstone, where a bunch of people try to create superhuman assassins. The series has been received well by audiences all over the world.

Shruti Haasan talks about her parents’ divorce

In a recent interview with an online portal, Shruti Haasan opened up about her break from films and how she has been dealing with her parents, Kamal Haasan and Sarika, getting a divorce. She said that she believes that pain is inevitable and cannot be avoided even if your parents are together. She mentioned that divorces come as news to other people, but to the people in the family, it is not news. She said that she was happy that her parents did what they did because they are both wonderful human beings and deserved happiness in their own parameters. According to Shruti Haasan, the whole process of a divorce is “a sad thing”. She said that if it is not working, one should not try to glue it together because when the storm will hit, it will all fall apart so it is better to separate.

Shruti to be seen in S.P.Jananatha’s next

Shruti Haasan has already signed a few films in Southern languages. The actor will be seen in a film, titled Laabam, which will release in the year 2020. The film is being written and directed by S.P. Jananathan. The film also stars actors like Vijay Sethupathi and Kalairasan in pivotal roles. The film does not have an official release date yet. Shruti Haasan will also be seen in a Telugu film alongside the actor Ravi Teja.
