Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan: Jitendra Kumar becomes Ayushmann's hero

Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll this year. Dream Girl hasn't even gone off-theatres yet, and Ayushmann has already posted the promo of his next flick Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. Typical of all Khurrana movies, this movie also has something different on its promo. Instead of Ayushmann romancing a girl, the actor will be seen falling in love with a boy! Ayushmann posted the promo here:

 

Ayushmann Khurrana's next movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan will be released on 13th March 2020.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan will focus on gay relationships and marriage. The movie will touch on subjects like family acceptance of a gay couple and general attitudes towards homosexuality in India. This will be done, of course, wrapped up in laughter and comedy. Ayushmann’s love interest will be played by Jitendra Kumar.

Jitendra Kumar is considered as one of the most prominent youth icons of today. The actor has worked in numerous mini-series from various online streaming portals. He mainly works from The Viral Fever. His major works include Permanent Roommates, TVF Pitchers, TVF Bachelors and TVF Bachelors. His breakthrough came with The Kota Factory, also by TVF, where his character Jeetu Bhaiya became an internet sensation. His excellent comedy timing, coupled with Ayushmann’s charm can prove to be an excellent combination for this movie.

Ayushmann had posted a short introduction of Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan which talked about types of romances that got lost amidst the ones that were popular and well-known. Here is the video posted on Ayushmann’s twitter account:

Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan is a sequel to 2017 hit Shubh Mangal Savdhaan starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The movie dealt with the quirky topic of erectile dysfunction. While the 2017 flick was directed by R. S. Prasanna, Aanand Rai has taken up the directorial seat for Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan.

The movie will see the return of Neena Gupta and Gajraj Singh as screen- parents, but this time for Jitendra. Gajraj has played father to Jitendra in many YouTube videos. The movie also stars Maanvi Gagroo, Manurishi Chadha, Pankhuri Awasthy, Sunita Rajwar and Neeraj Singh.
