Sona Mohapatra is one of Bollywood's most underrated singers. She hails from the state of Odisha and was born in the city of Cuttack. Sona Mohapatra has performed in concerts across the world and has also featured in albums, singles,  concert webcasts, music videos and advertisements, besides Bollywood movies. Sona Mohapatra is married to music composer Ram Sampath, who is best known for composing the soundtrack of  the 2011 comic-caper, Delhi Belly, produced by Aamir Khan. Here are some of the best songs of Sona Mohapatra and Ram Sampath

1. Bedardi Raja from Delhi Belly (2011)

Delhi Belly was the 2011 comic-caper directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Aamir Khan. The music of the film was composed by Ram Sampath and was controversial for one of the songs, Bhaag D.K. Bose. Sona Mohapatra provided the vocals for the song Bedardi Raja. It is a sensuous but witty song in which Sona can be seen donning a retro look.

2. Ambarsariya from Fukrey (2013)

The 2013 film, Fukrey, was directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. It was produced Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment and starred Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh and Richa Chadda in pivotal roles. The number Ambarsariya was sung by Sona Mohapatra and composed by Ram Sampath. It emerged as one of the most popular Bollywood songs in 2013 and is still popular to this day.

3. Jiya Lage Na from Talaash (2012)

The 2012 psychological crime thriller, Talaash, was directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment. Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan featured in the film. Jiya Lage Na is a haunting song composed by Ram Sampath, with Javed Akhtar behind the lyrics. Sona's splendid vocals and the music arrangement added to the appeal of the underrated song.
