Sonam Kapoor backs 'Boss' Anushka Sharma after scorching post

A series of comments have flooded the Twitter post by Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma in which she spoke out against the critics who have targeted her in their false and fabricated news and stories regarding Cricket over the years. Among the many Bollywood actors and dignitaries of the film industry, actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja took to social media to empower Anushka Sharma by lauding her views. Sonam retweeted Anushka's Twitter post with a hashtag 'boss'.

The Saawariya actor also took to Instagram where she commented on Anushka Sharma's post with a strong arm bicep and a heart emoticon.  It symbolized Sonam's agreement with Anushka's post slamming the critics.

The film industry cheers for Anushka Sharma

Other actors from the industry have also shown their support for the PK actor through their comments on her post. While actors Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor had hilarious reactions, actors Riteish Deshmukh, Parineeti Chopra and Kajal Aggarwal empowered Anushka by praising her on her effort to slam the critics. Anushka Sharma's brother Karunesh Sharma has commented with a "Bravo!" on her post.

Anushka Sharma's post came after she was accused of being on the recieving end of preferential treatment while travelling with Team India, with the last straw being that she was allegedly served tea by a selector while at the World Cup.

Earlier last month, Sonam Kapoor’s film The Zoya Factor opposite Karwaan actor, Dulquer Salmaan. The film was based on a popular novel of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. The film’s plot revolves around the life of a marketing agent, Zoya, who ends up becoming a ‘lucky charm’ for the Indian Cricket Team. She will be seen next in the Battle of Bittora and is also reportedly roped in for Veere Di Wedding 2.
