Splitsvilla 12: Hridya Prajapati talks about her painful past

Splitsvilla is an Indian reality show that airs on MTV. The show revolves around young boys and girls who come on the show to find a romantic connection and they perform various tasks to fight elimination and ultimately crown a King and a Queen. The contestants of the show are referred to as Splitsvillans and the show is judged and hosted by Sunny Leone and Ranvijay Singha. The show is currently on its 12th season and started airing in August 2019. Hridya Prajapati is one of the contestants on Splitsvilla X2.

Who is Hridya Prajapati?

Hridya Prajapati is an Indian model and fashion designer born in 1997. The 22- year old has more than thirty thousand followers on Instagram and has completed her graduation from the Asian Academy of Film and Arts. Hridya shared her painful past on the show’s segment, Villa Secrets.

Hridya Prajapati shares her painful past on Splitsvilla X2: Villa Secrets

When talking about her breakup diaries, Hridya shared that she has been in two relationships till date. The first relationship she was in lasted for about five years. She started dating the guy when she was 13. She also revealed that the relationship was really toxic and that the guy would always dominate her and tell what to do and what to wear.

When she turned 17, they decided to live together. One day, when Hridya returned from college, she caught him in bed with another girl. That's when she realized that she had to find her self-worth and kicked him out of her house and her life. She further explained that he was her first love and since she started dating him at a very young age, she thought that is how relationships worked. And that's why she kept altering her behaviour for him. She concluded it by saying that one should not have to change for someone who does not even care about them.
