Late actress Sridevi's wax statue is all set to be unveiled tomorrow morning by Madame Tussauds in Singapore. When the figurines were announced, Boney Kapoor had stated that it was a very 'emotional moment' for the family and that he is completely 'touched' by Madame Tussauds honoring his wife. Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor also took to Twitter and shared a glimpse of Sridevi's 'Hawa Hawaii' wax statue, wherein it can be seen bearing the iconic look from her famous film, 'Mr. India'

Janhvi Kapoor leaves for Singapore 

While Janhvi Kapoor left for Madame Tussauds Singapore in the morning, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor left for the city late last night. Madame Tussauds announces Sridevi's wax statue:

Madame Tussauds decided to add Srivedi's wax figure as a tribute to the late actor on her 56th birth anniversary on August 13.

About Sridevi: 

Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, she was known for her iconic roles in Hindi movies like 'Chandni', 'Lamhe', 'Mr India', 'Chaalbaaz', 'Nagina', 'Sadma', and 'English Vinglish' among many more. The Padma Shri awardee had also made a mark with her extraordinary performances in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films. Her last film was 'Mom' for which she also received Best Actress National Award, posthumously.

Janhvi Kapoor's work front: 

On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Gunjan Saxena in 'The Kargil Girl'.

The film is based on Gunjan Saxena's life, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat. She played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war.
