Stuck in Traffic, Anisha Padukone finds perfect 'SRK' phrase to dedicate to newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

A day after Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's grand Bengaluru reception, Deepika's younger sister Anisha Padukone found a perfect phrase to dedicate the newlyweds.

The much-anticipated Bollywood wedding of the 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took place on November 14 and 15 at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. Keeping up with both the cultures, the celebrity couple got hitched twice- one time in the traditional Konkani style and a day after that in traditional Sindhi style. Several Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, and Priyanka Chopra congratulated the couple. The pair who has now brought in the celebrations in the country hosted their first reception bash in Bengaluru on Thursday, November 22.

A day after the grand celebration, Deepika's younger sister Anisha Padukone found a perfect phrase to dedicate the newlyweds. She took to Instagram and shared a picture of an auto-rickshaw in her Instagram story the back of which read- 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', which is the title of one of Shah Rukh Khan's film. From the picture, it looks like Anisha was stuck in Traffic when she saw the sticker and came up with the idea of this hilarious social media post. She even tagged Deepika and Ranveer in the post.

Anisha is known to be very close to her elder sister Deepika and brother-in-law Ranveer. Post their wedding, Anisha even changed her Instagram bio from 'Ladkiwale' to 'DeepVeerwale'. 

Deepika and Ranveer made their public appearance as 'husband and wife' at their reception bash at The Leela Palace in Bengaluru on Wednesday, November 21, the grand reception bash was attended by several celebrities from the sports fraternity including ace shuttler PV Sindhu and cricketer Anil Kumble.

Ahead of the media appearance, the pair revealed their look in Instagram with identical Instagram posts. For the event, both Deepika and Ranveer were dressed in their traditional best. While Ranveer donned a Sabyasachi designer sherwani, Deepika dazzled in a golden a saree gifted by her mother.

As per media reports,  the couple is next going to host two more reception parties in Mumbai, one for Ranveer's extended family and friends and the other for the Bollywood fraternity.
