Suniel Shetty's birthday: Athiya Shetty's throwback pic with 'best friend' is too cute to be missed

It might be bit hard to believe, but Suniel Shetty turns 58 on Sunday and doesn’t look anywhere close to it, thanks to his fitness levels. On the veteran actor’s birthday, there were wishes galore from fans and even celebrities, but the best wish was from his daughter Athiya Shetty. Sharing a super adorable picture, the actress had the  sweetest birthday greeting for her father, calling him her ‘best friend’, wishing him joy and laughter while conveying gratitude for always having her back.

To wish her father on her birthday, Athiya shared a throwback snap where she's little and looking  unrecognisable, as her eyes were fixed on something while she rested in Suniel Shetty’s arm.  It wouldn’t be wrong to say that there isn’t much of a difference for the ’Hera  Phera’ star except for the fact that he sports a beard nowadays. 

Athiya wrote, “happy birthday to my best friend, i love you, papa! i wish you so much joy and laughter thank you for always having my back, and i hope you know we have yours, always!” (sic) 

Suniel responded with three heart emojis to call her the ‘love’ of his life.

Anil Kapoor and ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep were some of the others who wished Suniel on his special day.

Meanwhile, the Kannada star’s heartfelt message read, “I'm happy to have met u, known u, get closer to u n work wth u.
