Sunny Deol has created a niche for himself in Bollywood. But he has also been in unsuccessful films. Here is a list of his films that tanked at the Box Office.

Sunny Deol has a very long list of hits to his name. While some of the films were so well made that received a wide appreciation for the actor, there were quite a few of them that performed badly at the box office due to various reasons. Here are some of his films that were not successful:

Blank (2019)

This is the latest release of Sunny Deol which served as a launchpad for Dimple Kapadia’s nephew Karan Kapadia. The film also featured other young talents like Karnveer Sharma and Ishita Datta. However, it failed miserably at the box office making ₹ 5.15 crores with a budget of around 30 crores.

Bhaiaji Superhit (2018)

Bhaiaji Superhit is an action-packed film that failed to entertain its viewers. The film was made at an estimated budget of 60 crores. And with the film taking over 7-8 years for completion, this would have gone higher. However, Bhaiaji Superhit only grossed at ₹ 2.5 crores at the box office. The cast featured Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi, and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles.

Mohalla Assi (2015)

Mohalla Assi was an adaptation of Dr. Kashinath Singh's satire Kashi Ka Assi. Sunny Deol was praised for his superb performance in the film which unfortunately failed at the box office. The film starred Sakshi Tanwar in the lead alongside Sunny Deol.

Mahabharat (2013)

This one turned out to be a disaster at the box office. The film collected only ₹ 1.5 crore for the 50 crore budget of this star-studded drama film. Mahabharat featured big Bollywood names like Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Vidya Balan, and Manoj Bajpayee. Deepti Naval was also cast in this film.

Meanwhile, Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol recently made his Bollywood debut alongside newcomer Sahher Bambba in the romantic-drama, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which is actually reminiscent of some of Sunny Deol's earlier films.
