Karan Deol made his debut in Bollywood film industry with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is a love story of Saher Sethi and Karan Sehgal. Karan Deol plays Karan Sehgal and Saher Bambba portrays the role of Saher Sethi in the movie. The romantic drama is shot in snowy mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Sunny Deol has donned the director's hat for the movie.
The Sunny Deol directorial did not have much success at the box office. However, it had a good initial start. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas managed to collect approximately six crores at the box office, as per reports, within a week of its release. Before the release of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, fans were excited to see Karan Deol and Sunny Deol work together as a team. However, post the release, the movie did not do that well, although Saher earned praises for her work. Karan Deol's debut competed with Sonam Kapoor's The Zoya Factor and Sanjay Dutt's Prassthanam. However, amongst these, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas got better reviews and collection at the box office.
