Tara Sutaria calls her role as Zoya in Marjaavaan, 'challenging'

Tara Sutaria is all set to dazzle the audience with her performance as a speech-impaired character in her upcoming film Marjaavaan. The Student of The year 2 debutant will be seen opposite the Ek Villain star Sidharth Malhotra in the upcoming movie. The movie's trailer which recently released reportedly received mixed reactions from fans. Tara shared a post about her character in the action-packed romance film. 

Tara Sutaria communicates about Zoya

Marjaavaan, the action-romance written and directed by Milap Zaveri, is all set to release this November 8. This will be Tara Sutaria’s second film, and hence there is a lot of anticipation to see her in a different avatar from her debut role as a student in the Dharma Productions film. Tara will be seen playing the role of a speech-impaired person, Zoya. The 23-year-old actress expressed her gratitude for getting to do such a challenging role in a social media post. In the post, she said essaying Zoya’s role was a challenge for her. However, nonetheless, it was enriching in terms of gaining experience as an actor. Marjaavaan trailer details

Marjaavaan’s trailer was launched on September 26. The trailer showed impressive chemistry between Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra, who are rumoured to be dating in real life. The trailer was also successful in creating a mystery around Tara’s character for the audience as earlier the pair are seen romancing in the trailer but later Sidharth’s character is seen shooting a bullet at Zoya. Even Riteish Deshmukh, who plays a villain in the film can be seen warning Sidharth’s character about Zoya. Marjaavaan is also another gift to fans of Sidharth and Riteish Deshmukh pairing, who were last seen in Ek Villain and received a positive response for their roles in the film. In the trailer, Riteish Deshmukh can be seen singing the song Galliyan from the movie Ek Villain, further adding to the excitement around Sidharth and Riteish battling it out again on screen. Marjaavaan has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishna Kumar, and Nikkhil Advani.
