It goes without saying that it would be pointless if every new installment of a franchise doesn't get bigger than the previous one. ‘Thanks Salman Khan sir for making me feel at home’: Sudeep’s review of his first day on ‘Dabangg 3’ sets is too good.

It goes without saying that it would be pointless if every new installment of a franchise doesn't get bigger than the previous one. And for ‘Dabangg 3’, the makers have rightly got a well-known name to match up to Salman Khan. After Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj as baddies in the first two movies., ‘Kichcha’ Sudeep has been roped in for the Prabhudeva directorial, reportedly in the role of the antagonist. The Kannada superstar shared his first picture with the ‘Dabangg’ Khan on the ‘thrilling’ first day despite the heat and thanked him and the crew for making him ‘feel at home’.

Posting a snap with Salman from the gym, calling it an ‘added bonus’ apart from the 'fantabulous people', Sudeep wrote, “Heat was unbearable yet couldn't dominate the energy on set,,,, it was a thrilling day,, fabulous unit,, fantabulous people,,,,, a humongous Gym set up on Location is an added bonus. 1st day of #Dabangg3 wrappes wth smiles. Thanks @BeingSalmanKhan sir for making me feel at home.”

Reports of Sudeep playing the baddie against Chulbul Pandey has been going for a while now, but there was no confirmation yet. And fans of the actor couldn’t have got a better official confirmation than this.

Sudeep’s negative role in SS Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ (‘Makkhi’ in Hindi) has previously displayed how good he can be in the role of a villain.

The bonding between Salman and Sudeep had started much before the first day of ‘Dabangg.’ The former had praised the South star’s ‘Pailwaan’ movie trailer by writing how he had taken to another level what the Bollywood star had started with ‘Sultan.’

Sudeep had expressed his surprise at the praise too.

‘Dabangg’ team wrapped a schedule in Madhya Pradesh earlier this month. Sonakshi and Arbaaz Khan retain their characters of Rajjo and  Makkhi in the movie, which is slated to hit the screens on December 20.
