It was a contrasting tale for new releases this weekend as ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ did well, earning over Rs 20 crore, but ‘Arjun Patiala’ performed poorly at the box office. Meanwhile, ‘The Lion King’ hit the Rs 100-crore mark at the ticket windows, and there were milestones for earlier releases like ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Super 30’, achieving Rs 275-crore and Rs 125-crore marks respectively.

Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao-starrer comic thriller ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’, as per figures released by the makers, Balaji Motion Pictures, has earned Rs 22.04 crore over the weekend.

Though some trade reports are pegging the collections at around Rs 20 crore, the overall performance has been termed as ‘fair’ with substantial growth over the weekend, from around Rs 5 crore on opening day to Rs 7-8 crore on Saturday and Sunday. The multiplexes are mainly driving the business for the movie.
