One of the most awaited movie releases in October 2019, The Sky Is Pink, was screened for an early premiere this Saturday. The movie was screened at the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). The whole cast of The Sky Is Pink received a standing ovation at the festival. The audience had an expressive reaction to the film. The social media was bombarded with tweets appreciating the movie. Here are some of the audience-reactions about the film, The Sky Is Pink.

Audience reaction: 

Most of the reactions from audiences were positive. People at TIFF were seen posting their views and filling up their Instagram stories with Priyanka and team getting a standing ovation. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was reportedly spotted crying on- stage after receiving so much love from the audience.

The movie is a love story of a couple spanning 25 years, told through the lens of their spunky teenage daughter, Aisha Chaudhary, who is diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis. Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are seen playing the parents, while Zaira Wasim is playing their daughter.

Audiences posted their reactions on the medical issue being highlighted in the film. In one of the reactions embed, a doctor tweeted, how the movie reinforced his objective for getting into medicine. Audiences also shared how emotionally connected they felt after watching the film and were wowed with Priyanka and Farhan’s acting skills. The Sky Is Pink is a second collaboration for both these actors, after their previous movie, Dil Dhadakne Do in 2015. Priyanka and Farhan always share an appreciating chemistry on-screen, and it is surely being translated on-screen once again with The Sky Is Pink.

Priyanka's decision for choosing The Sky Is Pink over Salman Khan's Bharat was mired by controversy. Reportedly, the actor grimaced how people judged her for taking a motherly role. However, going by the audience reaction, it seems like they have whole-heartedly accepted Priyanka in this role. The Sky is Pink will be releasing on 11 October 2019 in India. After the huge appreciation and ovation received by the movie at TIFF, the Indian audience cannot wait for its release!
