The actor-director duo previously collaborated in films like "Black Friday", "Gangs of Wasseypur" franchise, "Raman Raghav 2.0" and the Netflix original "Sacred Games".

In "Bole Chudiyan", Siddiqui is set to play a passionate lover and has already started preparing for the film, the statement read.

The movie was earlier set to star Mouni Roy. However, the actress made a controversial exit from the film with the producer Rajesh Bhatia calling her 'highly unprofessional and irresponsible.' The actress' team had then denied the accusations. The replacement has not been announced yet.

Meanwhile, before ‘Bole Chudiyan’, Nawazuddin is set to work with Anurag, the man who gave him some of his finest work, in ‘Sacred Games 2’, on which the latter is a co-director along with Vikramaditya Motwane, which will release later this year.
