This Unseen Moment Of Shah Rukh Khan-Karan Johar From ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ Will Bring A Smile To Your Face

Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' recently completed 20 years, but it seems Karan Johar still loves to go back in time to his debut. The filmmaker shared a lovely behind-the-scenes picture from the sets.

'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ was the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. KJo, who was an assistant director on the movie, made a cameo in a comic sequence. While the Aditya Chopra directorial went on to become a cult classic, it was the actor-director duo’s next film together, that strengthened their relationship as friends.

We are talking about ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, which was the filmmaker’s debut, and the movie featuring SRK, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, turned out to be a blockbuster and established him in Bollywood so well that today his banner is the among the most sought-after in the country. The love triangle recently celebrated 20 years of its release, with the entire team coming together at a star-studded event along with other stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, among others. 

But it seems the filmmaker is yet to get over the magic of his debut movie. It was Throwback Saturday for him as he shared a lovely behind-the-scenes picture from the sets. In the photograph, we see a healthier Karan directing the actor in one of the scenes in the house after the time leap. While there is a smile on the director's face, it gives an impression that Shah Rukh seems jolted by his instructions, though that might not be the case. It’s always fun to go back in time and experience some unseen moments from a film that is loved across the globe.

After this movie, Karan Johar went on to direct Shah Rukh in three other films, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...,’ ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘My Name is Khan.’ In the filmmaker’s next two directorials, SRK had a part to play again, though he was not the lead star. He co-produced ‘Student of The Year’ and had a cameo in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.’ Shah Rukh’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ was also jointly produced by the two, and they also came together to back ‘Ittefaq’ that had released last year.
