It looks like before Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala hits the theatres, we will already have a similar story in front of us. The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor, Sunny Singh, is coming up with yet another interesting drama that demands him to go bald on-screen.  The movie is by the makers of Sunny's first commercial success, Pyar Ka Punchnama 2. The title of the film is Ujda Chaman, named after a slang that is commonly used for bald people. The film also casts Aishwarya Sakhuja along with Sunny. The actor is well-known for her work in TV serials like Saas Bina Sasural and Nach Baliye. Ujda Chaman also stars Maanvi Gagroo and Karishma Sharma in the lead cast.

Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman

The first look of Ujda Chaman was released a short time ago. With the poster, the makers of the movie, Panorama Studios International, seem to have made a sort of a jibe at the makers of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala. The poster was released along with a message at the bottom that read, 'Takle ki pehli aur asli film,' that means the first and original movie based on the concept of baldness. It seems to be a straight-up challenge for the makers of Bala. The film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, shared the poster in a tweet alongside other details about the film.  Ujda Chaman Trailer

The trailer of Ujda Chaman was released yesterday on September 30, 2019. The trailer suggests that the movie is a parody of bald men. It seems like the movie will be dealing with the issues that young, bald men face. Take a look at the trailer of Ujda Chaman here:

Clash of content between Ujda Chaman and Bala?

While Ujda Chaman is seen to be a comedy-parody, Bala appears to be a satirical black comedy directed by Amar Kaushik. Besides Ayushmann, Bala also casts Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, Seema Pahwa, and Manoj Pahwa in lead roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, Bala will hit the theatres on November 15, a week after Ujda Chaman. Ujda Chaman is going to release on November 8, 2019.
