Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The movie is a big-budget action-drama. Amitabh Bachchan plays the character of Gosaayi Venkanna who is the teacher of Narasimha Reddy. His character is a guiding force for Chiranjeevi’s character. The film has over 3000 VFX shots and its budget is reportedly ₹ 200 crores.

Gulabo Sitabo

Gulabo Sitabo will present Amitabh Bachchan in a very quirky avatar. It will be the first time that Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh will share the screen. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar who has previously directed films like Piku, October and Madras Café. The film is expected to release in April 2020.

Brahmastra­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

Brahmastra is a trilogy that will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film is a mythological action adventure which will span across three movies. Not many details about the film have been revealed since it is still in production.  Reportedly Amitabh had to go for 3D scans of his body for VFX work which was a tiring experience for him. The film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee who previously directed Ranbir in Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

It looks like there is no stopping for Amitabh Bachchan. At 76, the actor continues to deliver cinema considered as content-driven which is very rare for actors in his age. His film Badla which released back on March 8, 2019 was also critically acclaimed film.
