On Thursday, the movie collected Rs 7.40 crore, concluding a brilliant spell in the weekdays where they minted Rs 10.51 crore, Rs 9.57 crore, Rs 7.73 crore, respectively on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, according to figures tweeted by Taran Adarsh.

Previously, the weekend collections of over Rs 35 crore and particularly the doubling of collections from Rs 8.20 to 15.10 crore from Friday to Sunday was the biggest testimony of how much the audiences loved the movie.

With Rs 70 crore in the first week, it goes without saying that the movie will enter the Rs 100-crore club as it has done a lot better in week one than the big hits of last year which had reached the three-figure mark.

‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has beaten by a good margin the first-week collections of the most loved films of last year like ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Stree’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’ which had one-week collections of Rs 45.94, 56.59, 60.39 and 66.10 respectively.

The revenue from non-theatrical sources, satellite, digital and music, is set to add tremendously to the overall profits, he tweeted.
