Vaani Kapoor walks the ramp for Rose Room by Isha J at India Couture Week 2023

The India Couture Week is currently ongoing at Delhi's Taj Palace. Several fashion houses and designers have already showcased their latest lines at the 9-day long fashion gala which will soon be drawing to a close. The main attraction at the India Couture Week for August 1 was Rose Room by Isha J's show which saw actress Vaani Kapoor walk the ramp as showstopper.

• The fashion gala commenced its line of shows on July 25 with the last one being held on August 2.
• The event was notably opened by Kiara Advani who was the muse and showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock, the first show in the 9-day long lineup.

Isha J's brand Rose Room notably marked its debut at India Couture Week with its show. Vaani Kapoor walked the ramp as showstopper sporting a bright yet soft scarlet red lehenga ensemble. The line presented was titled Romantic Reverie.

Vaani Kapoor's ensemble for the night featured a lehenga set with a traditional cut and silhouette made contemporary by the abundance of European influences. The standout factor in Vaani's ensemble is how chikankari and French lace have been given equal importance in embellishing the silhouette. A statement Emerald neckpiece cut the extravagance of the look adding some variation of colour. Pearl crystals embellishing the lehenga skirt, completed the look.

Bollywood at India Couture Week

Vaani Kapoor is the latest addition to the list of Bollywood celebrities who have walked the ramp at India Couture Week. While Kiara Advani opened the event for Falguni Shane Peacock, Ananya Panday did the same for Rimzim Dadu's debut show. Similarly, Ranbir Kapoor turned showstopper for Kunal Rawal while Aditi Rao Hydari walked the ramp for Ritu Kumar. Athiya Shetty was Ritu Kumar's muse while Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur opened the show for Shantanu and Nikhil.
