Ajay Devgn's father Veeru Devgn passes away

Bollywood’s ace action director and Ajay Devgn’s father — Veeru Devgn is no more. Funeral will be held at Vile Parle West Crematorium at 6:00 Pm on 27th May 2019.

According to the reports, Veeru Devgn was admitted to Surya hospital, Santacruz this morning after he complained of breathlessness.

Action director Sham Kaushal, the father of actor Vicky Kaushal, took to Twitter and paid condolences.

Ashoke Pandit too wrote on his Twitter handle :

He has choreographed fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films. He has also directed a film – Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999) which starred son Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen among others.

 His filmography includes films like Inkaar (1977), Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Kranti (1981), Himmatwala (1983), Shahenshah (1988), Tridev (1989), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990), Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974) and more.
